This is genuinely a unique and unforgettable experience, and you will not regret booking it. The pub itself is beautifully decorated with items the owners have collected over the years and is fully kitted out with all the proper bar paraphernalia, from beer pumps to branded glassware. The jukebox and lighting really elevate the atmosphere and make it feel extra special when you’re partying late into the night. The bedrooms are cosy and comfortable, although the beds can be a little squeaky. The outdoor areas are also a real highlight and are perfect for gathering together, especially in good weather. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about paying for meter readings on checkout (as utilities are usually included) and providing the security deposit in cash, but it turned out not to be a hassle at all, and I understood the reasoning behind it. The hosts, Elaine and Sean, are absolutely lovely and extremely accommodating and we really enjoyed chatting with them. The only real downside is that the hot tub can only be used between noon and 10pm, which felt a bit over‑restrictive given that we were all adults. That said, I absolutely will not hesitate to book again and I genuinely cannot wait to return with more friends.
